Effects of climate change on communities of color & how to make a difference with Jasmine Sanders

When I think about the impending doom that climate change will inevitably bring in the coming years, and the effects that we have already begun to see, it makes me nervous. Individual action is great, but climate change needs to be addressed on a mass scale. We need people educating the public and pressuring politicians to enact sustainable policies. And today's featured sustainable brown girl is doing just that.
Jasmine Sanders (@jazzyclimate) is a climate scientist, strategist and advocate. She is the Executive Director of Our Climate, which is a climate change advocacy organization that uplifts young people to make a global impact on a grassroots level. Jasmine strives to raise awareness to the intersecting effects of climate change and the communities of color who are disproportionately affected.
